Viewing and Playing Back Files from Your LinkStation or TeraStation

Files on your LinkStation or TeraStation can be viewed and played back using WebAccess as shown below.

Tap the LinkStation or TeraStation where the file that you want to view or play back is saved.

If no LinkStation or TeraStation is registered, follow the procedure in "Registering Your LinkStation or TeraStation" to register your LinkStation or TeraStation.

The file is displayed or played back.

Viewing and playback compatibility has been confirmed for the file types shown below. However, viewing and playback may not be possible depending on your operating environment.
Image files
jpeg, jpg, png
Movie/Audio files wmv, m4a, wav, mp3, m4v,
mp4, 3gp, 3g2, asf
Others txt (UTF-8 only), doc, docx, pdf,
htm, html,
ppt, pptx, xls, xlsx, rtf, zip

Tap in the image display screen to open the slideshow. The interval between each slide in the slideshow can be changed in the [Slideshow] settings.
To view pictures or videos only, flick (lightly move your finger across the screen in a sweeping motion) the top of the screen to the left or right. Select [All] to display all files again.
If your Internet connection is congested or slow, you might not be able to stream video. If this happens, download the video completely, then play it from the [Save to] screen.


Playback of Music Files
When a folder containing music is open, tapping will start continuous playback of the music files in the folder.
Tapping during playback displays the playlist.
The following operations can be performed in the playlist.

 This pauses playback.
 This starts playback.
 This plays the previous file in the playlist.
 This plays the next file in the playlist.
 This enables setting of [Switch to Continuous Playback] and [Switch to Random Playback].

This completes the viewing and playback of files.
