Using WebAccess with your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad or Android (Mobile mode)

The following restrictions may apply.

WebAccess supports different features depending on whether you access it from a computer or an iPod touch or iPhone.

1.

Do not use the following characters in file and folder names: / \ " : < > * ? | or tab.


2.

Do not use a space and tab as the first character or last character of a file or folder name.

 

3.

The total path length of a file name should be 247 characters (247 bytes) or less.


4.

For best results, folders should contain no more than 100 files/folders each.


5.

Playback of files with DRM is not supported.


6.

Video and music files can't be played over a SSL (https) connection.


7.

Only files that are supported by your versions of Safari and Quicktime can be played back on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.


8.

Playback compatibility for video and music files may depend on the specifications of your Android.


9.

If you manipulate a large number of files simultaneously, the task may not finish within the allowed time.


10.

If many clients access your WebAccess server simultaneously, access speed may be significantly degraded.
